LE MUSEE DE SOLOGNE

The museum of Sologne (opened on 1 July 1995) is located in old mills in the heart of Romorantin-Lanthenay, capital of the Sologne. On an exceptional site, straddling the Sauldre, three buildings are devoted to the museum: the mill Chapter, the mill of the City and the tour Jacquemart.

It traces the history of magic popularized by the father of modern prestidigitation, Jean Eugene Robert-Houdin. On the first floor you will approach the universe of Robert-Houdin, while the Magicians Theatre will lead you in the "Grand Illusion", twenty-minute show performed by renowned magicians ...
